How to apply
The United States government requires that all prospective students applying for “F”, “M”, and “J” visas pay a SEVIS fee $100 BEFORE applying for the visa. Instructions to pay the fee can be found on the What is SEVIS page.
Application Steps
Step 1: Complete the IWCC Application
- Apply on-line
- Enter your name exactly as it appears on your passport.
- Check the academic term in which you wish to arrive.
Step 2 . Send Official Transcripts.
- Send an official, original transcript for any high school, secondary school, college or university you have attended.
- Certified true copies can be sent instead of originals.
- Enclose an official English translation of all transcripts.
Step 3 . Provide proof of financial support.
- Complete the financial affidavit.
- Enclose official original bank statement no older than 90 days with your financial affidavit.
Step 4 . Pay the Express mail and documentation fee
- All new international students must pay the express mail and documentation fee to receive I-20 and admissions documents.
