What do I do at Iowa Western?
I am an academic advisor at IWCC. So, if you’re not sure what classes to take or decide to switch your major (which who doesn’t at some point?) you can come and talk to me. I am also in charge of testing, so if you need to take a placement test or a test to get into your program, I can help you there too. I hope you are all as excited for classes to start as I am and if you have any questions, stop in and see me. That’s what I’m here for!



IWCC Stuff


Favorite IWCC Moment:
On my second day of work at IWCC I was grabbing lunch in the cafeteria. Norm, one of the culinary staff, came up to me and asked me how I was doing; I guess it was obvious that I was new. Now every time I head to the cafeteria I look forward to talking to Norm. Everyone here is so friendly it is easy to feel at home!

IWCC Insider Tip:
Check out the Culinary Café on Fridays. Its gourmet food at affordable prices! They also sell baked goods and heat and eat take out dishes.

Favorite HULU or YouTube clip:
I love the video “Charlie bit my finger-again” It demonstrates some good life lessons. Learn from your mistakes and don’t repeat them! Plus it is just cute.


Fun Stuff

What could you not live without?
My I Pod. I can hardly walk a distance of more than fifty feet without my I Pod playing. I also plug it into my car and use it at home all the time. Having music playing can make even the most boring things seem fun, like cleaning! I also have videos on it, so if I find myself stuck in line I can watch videos or play games. I would be very bored without it.

Community Service Involvement:
I am new to the area so I am excited to check out all the different opportunities to get involved! If you have any good suggestions let me know.

Hobbies and Interests:
-Traveling. I have been to a few places but want to see more!
-Going to the movies
-My cat Cali
-Playing tennis
