Bridges for Learning in Applied Science and Technology
B.L.A.S.T. Support Services are designed for secondary students that have been receiving special education services while they were in high school. The services are to assist studnts in participating in the vocational/technical training programs at IWCC by providing special education support and instructional services. This provides students with disabilities an opportunity to develop career or occupationally specific skills. the Student remains on the home district roles, so the school pays for tuition, fees, and special education support. The student must remain on his/her IEP and although all high school credits are completed, the student does not officially graduate until he/she has completed the program at IWCC or until the services are no longer needed.
