Maintenance Requests
The office of Residence Life in conjunction with the Physical Plant Department coordinates the general building repairs of all Residence Life Facilities.
Currently, students living on campus may submit a maintenance request at their front desk or online using SAIL. By submitting the request, you give college staff the right to enter your room to complete the job whether or not you are present.
Emergency Service
Emergency maintenance is available in the Residence Life facilities. Examples of maintenance emergencies requiring urgent repairs may include:
- Doors that do not close or lock properly
- Lock and key problems
- Heat, power, or water loss
- Flooding
- Continuously running water (sinks, toilets, showers)
- Clogged sinks and toilets
- Broken Windows
- Damages to fire alarm or security equipment
All maintenance emergencies should be reported to your Facility Front Desk or Residence Assistant on duty.
The online maintenance request should NOT be used to report maintenance emergencies.
