  • Quality Education: Our online classes maintain the same high standards as our traditional offerings, ensuring you receive a comprehensive and valuable education.

Two Ways to Earn Your Degree Online

Online Programs

These programs allow you to take courses entirely online, following Iowa Western’s academic calendar. Our online programs are not self-paced — you’ll follow the academic calendar and have weekly assignments and deadlines– but you can complete coursework at times that work best for you.

Online Cohort Programs

Iowa Western’s new online cohort programs feature 8-week accelerated courses and offer a unique cohort format for earning your degree. A cohort is a small, dedicated group of students who start and progress through the program together, taking the same courses in a set sequence.

Starting in August 2025, these exciting new online cohort formats are offered for both our Business Administration Transfer Major AA or Psychology Transfer Major AA programs.
