About the Program

If you’re early into a vocation and assessing your career needs and goals, consider selecting the Applied Business Individualized Technical Program Option program. It’s ideal for those who want to craft a program of study that meets specific technical career goals. Graduates are awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree. 

The beauty of this program is you can earn up to 30 credits for prior on-the-job training, continuing education, military training, apprenticeships, professional development, or other work experience.

The Applied Business Individualized Technical Program Option program of study provides students an opportunity to adapt an existing college program of study to their individual needs and career goals. The intent of this option is to craft a program of study that meets a student’s specific technical career goal.

Career Information

This program is intended for current students to design a program of study that is based on their specific technical career goals. This program may broaden the student’s opportunities for promotion, career enhancement, and personal achievement. Every individual who enrolls in the program will have a different situation, so employment options and salaries will vary.

Upon the successful completion of the program students will:

  • Guide students with supervisory, journeyperson, paraprofessional or equivalent proficiency in a trade or occupation to document experiential learning, apprenticeships, on-the-job training and non-college coursework.
