Microsoft Excel: Advanced (level 3)

This course builds on the spreadsheet skills learned in Level 2. You'll learn to create and format PivotTable and PivotCharts; automate routine tasks; use specialized functions such as PMT, FV, Goal Seek, Solver, the Analysis ToolPak, and the Scenario Manager; use 3-D cell references; use the HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP and IF functions; consolidate data from detail worksheets and group worksheets; use data validation and conditional formatting; and collaborate, track changes, and merge multiple workbooks. The Level 2 class, Excel Intermediate, or experience with the skills outlined in Level 2 is recommended. Take all three Excel levels in this series to receive a discount and earn a certificate of completion. Fee $149

Learn the basic concepts: build, edit and format spreadsheets; create basic and complex formulas and functions; create and modify charts. Computer experience is required. This course builds on the spreadsheet skills learned in Level 1. You'll learn how to prepare workbooks and create custom views; sort worksheet rows, freeze headings and split worksheet windows; insert art; draw, move, size, rotate and add styles; use and create templates; copy and move worksheets; copy formatting between worksheets; and use linked formulas. You'll also discover how to work with tables, lists, and outlines, as well as understand how to create hyperlinks. The Level 1 class, Excel Basics, or experience with the skills outlined in Level 1 is recommended. Take all three Excel levels in this series to receive a discount and earn a certificate of completion. Fee $149
