Help Desk Support is a solid career field with many opportunities for employment. Develop the skills
required to problem solve, network, and troubleshoot computer systems.

High School diploma or equivalent in process.

Non-Credit to Credit

Take your education to a whole new level and earn college credit toward a certificate in Help Desk Support Certificate or a degree in Network and Systems Administrator. Successful completion of this program will earn you 3 hours of college credit for Fundamentals of Desktop Support!

Career & Salary Information

Help Desk Support Specialists oversee the daily performance of computer systems. They answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems and enter commands, and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. Average pay is $11.40 - $29.82 per hour, annual salary is $23,680 - $62,250. Entry level positions will allow further training within companies or industries. Additional education with experience would lead to supervision of others in completing the tasks associated with Network Support.  IC3 test voucher and all materials included in the cost of the tuition.
